Plans that never happened/taken by someone else part 1.
It was the latter part of 2009. I was trying to decide what my next project would be and I started reading through some of the PPV results and noticed that Undertaker's WM winning streak had just ended earlier in the year. Real WWE news siting that his career may be coming to an end, I had an idea. (Note, I'm not sure how I was going to hide any of it yet)
The Undertaker would declair that while his body/vessel may be decaying, that the spirit of the Undertaker was alive and well. And that in his final act in WWE, he would make ready the new vessel to carry on the task he had started nearly twenty years ago. So he would find a new desciple and prepare them to take over the essence that kept the Undertaker going for so many years.
Several weeks would pass and Undertaker would come out during random matches and observe different wrestlers in the ring. Eventually he would come down during a large multiman match and pick one of the wrestlers go up to him and consider him... then say "You're not worthy" and either a) attack him leaving him in a crumpled heap(non-taken) or b) walk away and begin a fued with the person after they took offense to what Undertaker had said.
Another month would pass and Undertaker would be called out to the ring to talk about the search for his new desciple. Asking questions what he was looking for. And he basically saying that there is any physical quality he is looking for... but an evil within. When asked "do you think you will find him soon?", he will respond "I don't think you understand what I've been saying... I'm almost 100% positive now, that he is not the deciple." And walk away.
Two weeks later, after some speculation as to what he meant. There will be a 2 on 2 divas match... Undertaker will interrupt the match and walk down to the ring. The women will all cower and Undertaker again says "none of you are worthy" and walk away.
The next week, during a post match, the lights will go out. Then you hear "You... ARE... Worthy". When the lights come back on, Undertaker will be standing there behind Maryse(any diva would work, but this is my taken diva at the time), who tries to flee but Undertaker apprehends her and takes her to the back.
The next few weeks Undertaker has Maryse and attempts to convert her. Leading up to him tossing her into a coffin and burying her.
The following week undertaker will come out and present his new desciple, the one who will carry on the essence of the Undertaker. Her tron hits:

Out walks a black haired woman dressed in all black, contrasting greatly with her pale complexion. The announcers are in shock that is Maryse. Maryse begins to take on many of Undertaker's mannerisms and "powers" over the next few weeks... hopefully leading to a 2v2 intergender tag match at Wrestlemania.
-- Don't know where I was going to go from there, but never was able to get Undertaker before he became unavailable. I had a short hope of starting this up last year when PN was looking for a diva to run with, after a short convo with him... he didn't think Maryse would work with what he was wanting to do(i didn't tell him about this plan of mine).. and that was the end of that.
--Yes, I've held that tron for two years looking for an opprotunity to go with this angle.

It was early 2010, and I finally decided to try my hand at WCTNA. I won't get into my first pick there today(I will cover that on Friday), but will concentrate on my 2nd pick.
WCTNA - Eric Bischoff

(Note, I started to delve into the realm of music mashup themes... beginning with this one. I would begin to stray outside of wrestling theme mashups later, but that's for another day). The above tron was a mashup of Eric Bishoff's WWE "I'm Back" theme and Undertaker's "Your Going to Pay" theme. I thought it turned out well, and decided to use it as my tron.
What my plans were... to have Bischoff have a talk show to talk about all the going on's in WCTNA. What was happening, what he thought things were going to be in the future, predictions on marqee matches(complete with a tracked win/loss record), and "if I was running things, this is how I would do it". This gave me an angle to get my foot in the door that also coupled with me being able to "catch up" with the WCTNA history that I had missed out on.
But, shortly after taking him, I realized he was already tied up in a storyline, and it would make no sense for him to go the route I had planned. I attempted to fill the role that he was already in, but felt very out of the loop trying to have Bischoff appear to know what is going on when I didn't even know. Eventually I handed control back over to PN, and dropped him at the following window.

Ha, that's awesome! I don' think 'better' is the correct word here. I don't think I would have gone into as much detail as you did. So there's a tradeoff. I was very excited to see the idea come to life. |

Today's submission... or should I say... submissions.
This was my first real attempt to get into WCTNA(I say that cause I joined before halfheartedly... even won a title... then just faded away), was to pick up someone in a division a little more defined... namely the Knockout division. That's when I saw Lacey von Erich was available. Now, I immediately knew I wanted to take her and give her the blond bimbo/complete randomness gimmick. But that wasn't enough. I really needed something to latch on to.
Then I got an idea. She was going to be an Angelina Love superfan. Complete with a Beautiful People style titantron. Problem was, there wasn't a whole lot of Lacey von Erich video out there that didn't have Velvet and Madison on screen with her. So this became a work in progress. Here are the three stages she went through until she finally got over her uber Angelina fangirlism.

Shortly after quitting as Smackdown GM, I had an idea started that I wanted to see through to the end. So I took Chavo Guerrero. The plan was for me to establish him as a main event type talent again(since he was already champ once), so with that, I needed a new tron.

But if you know SnS, there's always a twist to my ideas. Once I establish Chavo as a Main Event type talent, I would declare that he has absolutely no interest in the World Title again. That he had already been World Champ longer than anyone else had been in over two years. That the real competition was in the cruiserweight division and that he was setting his sights on the newly recreated cruiserweight championship. In the process of doing this he gathered some of hispanic bretheren who would share his vision. And thus a stable was reborn!

The hope was to bring some credibility to the title while also establishing an undercard faction. Sadly, my real life got in the way two months later and I had to cut back. Chavo was the one that took the hit.
(fun fact... the lWo tron is my most viewed video I have... coming in at nearly 14,000 hits already... my next highest one is only at 2,677, the LVE 3.0 tron)

Next is one of the most disappointing times for me. Long story, be warned. It was May 2010, and I was looking for something for Maryse to get involved in. She had just won the Cash in the Vault a month back at Wrestemania. And the draft had just sent several of the divas to Raw to make it a Raw exclusive title. Among those drafted was Tiffany and Teresa, the TNT Bunnies... then I remembered something posted on this board nearly a year prior. So I shot Madhack a PM with my idea of the two fueding with Maryse and the pair winning out(leading to a Women's title shot for the leader, tiffany), but then showing up at the PPV after a short absence and joining the bunnies... either by assist Tiffany in the win, coming out post match like I was about to cash in the purse on tiffany if she won, or if tiffany lost, come out and cash in the purse on Alicia and the bunnies would assist in that match. Now, this angle took nearly four months to complete, but it went off without a hitch. And during that time I decided to work on a tron for the new group that was going to dominate raw's women's division. I pulled out all the stops for this one. Found high def clips of each, found a mashup theme that fit well for the group, created a logo to represent the new trio, added video affects(that caused the rendering of the video to take over an hour)... I even got the assistance of a graphics guy to create custom nameplates for the new tron. When it was all said an done... it was beautiful. (note the date...worked on it off and on for two months) And madhack was virtually drooling over it. WCWWE - Bunnies Titantron (Full & Complete) HD July 12, 2010 2:16 PM But I ran into a snag, Youtube's auto copy protection software at the time flagged the song. And though available to everyone in the US, it was blocked from view for anyone in the europe. And considering the number of members we had in europe, that wouldn't work. So I had to make another watered down version until youtube for the people in europe(i couldn't let them not see this!). WCWWE - Bunnies (short) - European Edit HD July 14, 2010 11:16 AM Even though it was alot shorter, it was done and our european bretheren would be able to see it. We were ready to go. Everything was falling into place. Maryse had been kidnapped or injured badly(i forget now which). Tiffany was getting the title shot we were trying to set up at Summerslam on August 27, 2010. But then... This happened.Two weeks after I finally get the tron complete. And just a few weeks out from the PPV. Wrestecrap lays a bomb on us. The tron I worked so hard to complete will now never see light of day. So I begrudgedly made a third tron, that stays within the new rules on the 'crap. WCWWE - Bunnies (WC Edit) HD August 3, 2010 9:49 AM Quite underwealming considering the original, but there it is. I don't think madhack has forgiven them yet. What makes things worse is that making trons like this for WCWWE/WWE Fan Edition would never happen again. I still had WCTNA that I could make trons for, but I had not been quite as involved there as I was in WWE. It would be another two months before I make another tron. |

Off to WCTNA! I was looking for a tag partner for Lacey, and I had the perfect candidate. Problem is, she was tied up as a tag rule with someone else. And instead of just taking her away from her writer, I waited until he was finished writing for her. And he gave me the go ahead to begin writing for her. So the tag team of Lacey von Erich and Traci Brooks was born! Now, what to call this team. Lacey had the fantastic and ever so creative idea of calling themselves the Lacey and Traci connection. Traci(along with PN and the rest of the writers in WCTNA) hated it.  So I put out a request for team names, so anyone that had an idea of what to call the team could PM me. And after a grand total of zero PMs on this, I decided to go with my original team name that I had pitched to PN. And this is/was their tron... Leather 'n Lace - WCTNA HD October 8, 2010 3:12 PM Yes, it was another mashup. Yes, the video itself was basic. But it was nearly impossible to get HD videos of Traci at the time... and the HD videos of Lacey all included Velvet and Maddison. So this had to do for now. |

PN came to me with a very detailed list of what he wanted included in this Tron. And he had good reason to. Was one of the strongest angles ever in the knockout division.
