JR: Ladies and gentlemen, we are just 5 days removed from the WCWWE No Way Out PPV presented by Smackdown, here on Wednesday Night Raw. Alongside me is Byron Saxton.
BS: That's right JR. No Way Out changed the entire face of WCWWE. Not only do we have new Unified Tag Team Champions but we have a new WCWWE World Heavyweight Champion as well.
JR: We'll talk about all these things later tonight. But first a rundown of whats to come tonight.
BS: The TV Champ The Big Show teams with Chris Jericho to take on the team of The Rated R Superstar and the Moscow Mauler.
JR: The TV Champ? Well the #1 contender to his title will begin to be determined tonight as Donny Marlow battles the Undertaker.
BS: And Cash in the Vault's last entrant will be determined as well.
JR: We also understand that Vince McMahon himself will be here tonight, looking answers from Bret regarding whether a Raw star was responsible for shooting him or not.
BS: Up first, the Dudebusters are in action!
JR: Dudebusters?
BS: Yeah, take a look.
*Trent Barreta and Ms Cash walk into the Dudebusters locker room, where Caylen Croft is playing online XBox 360. Croft is talking to a kid through the headset*
Yeah, that's right bitch, you're dead! Claymore'd your sorry ass! What's that? Don't you talk about my mom that way, kid? What are you anyway, 10? Yeah, well screw you too!
*Trent takes the headset away from Croft, and turns off the console*
Dude, what gives? I was all over that modern warfare s**t!
Caylen, buddy, you gotta stop this. Videogames are supposed to be there to relax us, and here you are getting all worked up over some little kid!
He said my mom was a skank-bag!
Dude, that's not even a word. Anyway, its not important. We got a big match tonight, against Shelton Benjamin and The Great Khali - two formidable opponents. And me and Ms Cash personally feel that its about time the Dudebusters climbed the tag team ranks in this company! We've been staring at the lights for too long, and its gotta stop!
He's right Caylen. You guys are too good as a team not to be challenging for the titles.
So how about you put down the controller, and let's focus on winning tonight.
Aw man, you're banning videogames now? I remember when you used to be fun.
Yeah, and I remember that week in and week out we're getting embarrassed out there, bro! The time has come for you and I to stop coasting and being RAW's whipping boys! Tonight we're gonna beat Ye Olde Standard and that big-chinned freak, and prove that we're worth a damn!
Y'know what Trent? You're right. We gotta start showing the fans that we can be a threat.
That's the spirit! I'm proud of you boys - now go out there and win for me!
Yeah!
One more thing Trent. When we win tonight, can we celebrate by going down to Marv's Arcade? They just got a new Galaga machine, and I love that retro stuff!
*Trent sighs*
Fine.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Let's get 'em!
*The Dudebusters and Ms Cash leave the locker room, with Caylen Croft bouncing around excitedly*

Em, yea sure Sir, how can I be of assistance?
Okay I'll cut right to the chase. Vince McMahon. Did either of you do it... or do you know anything about who might have done it?
*Alicia looks confused*
Did we do what to Vince McMahon??
Em, Alicia, somebody tried to hurt Mr McMahon, quite badly in fact.
Really? When?
Back in June, if memory serves me correctly. As for me Bret I'm innocent I'm afraid I've nothing that will be of any use to you.
*Alicia begins to look a bit worried*
Somebody tried to shoot Mr McMahon!! Why ever would they do that? Is there a serial killer on the loose Mr Hart?
I really really hope not Alicia... I really hope not. Are you sure you two know nothing about this?
About what?
*Sigh* About who shot Vince McMahon!
No, I know nothing, sorry Sir
Me neither, sorry Bret
I really hope I don't get shot, it's supposed to hurt
*Bret looks frustrated*
Okay... thank you for your time guys.
*Bret walks off shaking his head.*

JR: Alicia and Joey seem to be innocent.BS: Well they're hardly likely to blurt out that they did it are they? Alicia played the dumb... actually she's not blonde. She just played dumb well. And well... Joey Styles couldn't hurt a fly. Hell, he couldn't even beat up a commentator!
JR: Hmmm, might wanna look at some old commentators from round here about that.
BS: What?
JR: Nevermind. Croft and Barreta sure love their video games.
BS: Who doesn't? But I get your point. Caylen needs to focus. Khali and Shelton may be a new team, but they aren't gonna just roll over for them.
JR: I'm sure Trent and Ms. Cash will keep Caylen focused on the match tonight.
BS: Well let's find out...
The following contest is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, and India respectively, accompanied by Ranjin Singh, the team of Shelton Benjamin and the Great Khali!
And their opponents, from Youngstown, Ohio, and Mount Sinai, New York respectively, accompanied to the ring by Ms. Cash, the team of Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta!

Croft and Barreta both take turns beating down on Shelton Benjamin. Croft clubs on his back and runs into the ropes. T-Bone attempted by Shelton. Caylen elbows himself free and kicks Shelton in the midsection. Caylen off the ropes again and Benjamin catches him with a big kick to the side of the head followed by the T-Bone suplex.
Both men are on the mat. Croft is a little quicker and makes the tag to Trent. Shelton however makes it to his corner. Khali however is too busy staring at Ms. Cash on the outside of the ring. Barreta drags Shelton back into the middle of the ring and hits him with a DDT. He motions for Croft to enter the ring. Croft, groggy enters and lifts him up in a powerbomb position. Barreta then pulls Shelton down for the backbreaker!
Barreta into the cover as Croft charges across and hits Khali.

JR: Very impressive work from the Dudebusters here tonight. They've been struggling so far on Raw but tonight... well... maybe Trent has found the key to future success.BS: Pinning the opponent?
JR: Well that... and cuttin down on the video games.
BS: To be fair, Khali wasn't a very good tag team partner tonight was he?
JR: You can only beat what's put in front of you Byron.
BS: The only slight I have on their performance tonight? No stripping from Ms. Cash.
*Bret Hart is standing in his office when there is a knock. In walks David Hart. He gives Bret a smile as Bret goes to speak but Hart cuts him off.*
You wanted to see me about something? I bet I can take a guess as to what it is. Last week I destroyed Jim Duggan, maybe I ended him forever. This was a man I liked and respected for months, I just got bored of carrying him.
Last Friday night I made sure Vladimir Koslov learned just what happens when you cross my path. Now he and Raw don't have a pretty little title and I will gladly take full credit for it. Thanks to me the Superpowers have exploded and died in less than a month. When we first formed everyone thought I was going to be the weak link of the stable but I am showing that I am the strongest. I am going to be the strongest one on all of Raw soon.
I am bringing honor to our family the likes of which has not been seen in over twelve years! That was what you wanted...Right?
Well David... I'm glad you're trying to make a name for yourself, but surely you could have done it differently? What you did to Hacksaw last week was a bit extreme... and you cost Vladimir his WCWWE title belt. Couldn't you have just tried to steadily work your way up the ladder? I mean look at me. That's what I did.
You did things the honest way, Uncle Bret I understand that. But what did that get you? Sure you got to hold the world title five times. You worked all around the world and you made millions..But what happened to you then? You were cast aside by Vince McMahon whether you liked it or not. You were screwed over by a guy who was proud of it. Who went on the next night like nothing happened and you left for WCW.
He chewed you up and spit you out like an old piece of gum and do you know why? Because you did things the right way, well I won't let that happen to me.
Well David, I can sorta understand that... but I don't approve of it. But that's your business. What I wanted you to come here to discuss... well.. I'm asking everyone on the roster tonight... did you shoot Vincent Kennedy McMahon on June 12, 2009?
*David Hart's expression changes to a sneer.*
You don't approve of how I do things? Well let me tell you something...I am going to do things my way, and like you said that is my business!
*Hart turns and storms out from the room leaving Bret Hart standing alone.*

JR: Sir David Hart, of course, the man who cost Raw the World Heavyweight Championship on Friday night.BS: In fact the tag champs would still be Raw stars as well if it weren't for him JR.
JR: He's sure had a nasty turn in attitude recently. Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Vladimir Kozlov took him under their wing and this is how he repays them? It's disgusting!
BS: Ah but just how bad a turn in attitude is it JR? He didn't exactly deny involvement in Vince McMahon's shooting did he?
JR: Good point Byron... Good point. Bret will have to take that into consideration when giving his findings later tonight.
BS: Unless he finds out who did it for certain of course.
JR: Of course. Our next match tonight though will involve these two men... Kofi Kingston and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!
Hmph.... why is a talent like yourself being put in danger against these on trained scrubs
With all due respect Ricky, you shouldn't talk that way. These guys a three talented young men should all be viewed as up and coming black talent, like myself. They may be a bit green, but I'm honored to be their opponent tonight.
I'm not saying any of that isn't true, but you deserve better
Honestly? These past few months I haven't been an asset to this company, I haven't been trying my hardest, being the guy set for the debuts of three new guys isn't that awful. Worse things have happened. Hopefully surely but surely I can build myself back up in management's eyes. Tonight, I will, hopefully, give these new guys the match of their lives but... win. I'll climb my way back up the ladder until I'll WCWWE WORLD Heavyweight Champion

BS: Seemed a little bit disrespectful by the Dragon. You'd think he'd try to teach his protege Kofi Kingston respect but it seemed like it was the other way around there.JR: Not very Ricky like no. But Kofi is showing a lot of maturity Byron. He realises he hasn't been up to the standard he could be of late. He's hoping to change all that, starting tonight.
BS: WCWWE World champ though? Bit of a high expectation isn't it? He can't be serious?
JR: Did you ever think Chavo Guerrero would be WCWWE Champion for 5 months?
BS: Well no, but...
JR: Exactly.
*The scene cuts backstage where joey styles is standing with The Undertaker*
Now Undertaker a couple of weeks ago you said that you were going to retire after wrestlemania and the whole wcwwe universe has asked why?
Yes they have and the answer is very simple I have been in this business for 19 years I've had knee problems and I just don't know how much I have left.
Well as you know you are facing Donny Marlow tonight in a tv title tournament to see who will face big show at wrestlemania.
Yes that is right now I don't know who this Donny Marlow is but I do know who Big show. You know me and big show go back a long time from the corporate ministry vs the union to the Unholy Alliance.Big show I look forward to facing you.
That leads to my next topic how do you feel being in for the tv title and not the world title.
Well the tv title is not the world title for sure but if I win the title I will not retire.
Thank you for your time

BS: The Undertaker though saying that if he wins the TV Title he'll definitely not retire.
JR: Well I'd like to think not. It would be an honor for him to hold the TV title surely.

The jobbers actually manage to isolate Zack Ryder for ages.
Ryder then hits an enziguri out of nowhere on Otunga. Young runs in and takes a hiptoss. Tarver then charges at Ryder, who low bridges the rope sending him over the top to the floor. Ryder dives to his corner and makes the tag to Kofi Kingston.
Kofi comes in with his controlled frenzy, hitting back elbows and single leg dropkicks to both Tarver and Young. Young misses with a clothesline and Kofi hits a reverse hurracanrana! Tarver then tries for a clothesline, but Steamboat comes in off the top with a high crossbody on the rookie.
David Otunga runs right into the Trouble in Paradise from Kingston, sending him stumbling into the Zack Attack from Ryder. Kingston covers Otunga.

But it's not about that Lance. I just want to know.... did you shoot Vince McMahon in June?
Who now?
Vincent Kennedy McMahon - the owner of WrestleCrap World Wrestling Entertainment.
Uhhhh no
Want some chicken?
Some weird little guy with a mullet was handing it out earlier
Look Lance. This is serious! I need answers!

Yeah ah didn't do it
So you weren't too bothered about October 14, 2008 then?

JR: You think Lance did it?
BS: I have no idea. He has motive I guess. But then lots of people have been released around here, so if we go along that line of thinking then we have a lot of suspects.

The following contest is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Memphis, Tennessee, he is the self proclaimed Inter Gender Champion, Jerry “The King” Lawler!

Hart then spits on the broken up bits of title belt and throws it out of the ring. Lawler struggles up to his feet, and Sir David levels him with the sledgehammer.
A plethora of security charge to the ring to try to stop David. David smashes two security guys with the hammer, and looks about crazed. Hart eventually drops the hammer and tells Lawler "That was for Natalya" before leaving to a chorus of boos.

JR: Jerry is an old friend, and well, I don't like seeing anyone leaving on a stretcher like this. It seems like almost every week this is happening and... it has to be put to a stop. I know Bret is busy tonight but tomorrow he needs to take a look at just went down and suspend Sir David before more people are hurt.
*Bret Hart is roaming the halls when he sees Edge standing in the corridor, talking on his cell phone. Bret walks up to him.*
Edge, can I have a word with you?
Sure, Bret, what's going on?
Anybody interesting on the phone?
Just someone I haven't really spoken to in a while.
Wouldn't happen to be someone who... say... helped you attack someone?
I'll talk to you later.
Edge hangs up the phone.
Look, Bret, I know what you're getting at.
I've been in this company for well over a decade, I've held over twenty championships, and I've done all these things thanks in part to Vince McMahon giving me a chance.
Now, I know just as well as anyone how much of a no good piece of crap he can be, but I would have absolutely no reason to try and kill him.
Adam... I know as well as anyone just how infuriating that man can be. Remember Survivor Series 97? Actually I don't even need to ask that. I know you do. He's an asshole of the highest order at times.
You haven't exactly been having a great time of late either. It's been a long time since you were World champ Edge. Ever since CM Punk beat you back in June 2008... no title reigns. And ultimately who has refused to give you a chance?
You know, that may be true, then again, I don't see you putting me in any title matches, but that's not the point, Bret, the point is, there's a LONG line of people around here who want a piece of Vince, but I'm not one of them.
I'll tell you what, though, why don't you have a little chat with our fellow Canadian Chris Jericho, I wouldn't put anything past him anymore.
Oh I will... I will. I'm talking to everyone... but Edge... if you have anything you'd like to confess. You can tell me.
Well, there is one thing, I just want to let you know that when I get my hands on Jericho tonight, he may not be in any condition to answer your questions.
Let's hope I find him before that then. Good luck for tonight Edge.
Bret walks off.

JR: And Bret bought that?
BS: It's the truth!
Joining me at this time, the WCWWE Television Champion, The Big Show.
Eight weeks and counting.
I've got to ask you, what are your thoughts on Mr. McMahon's ruling that the TV title will no longer be defended weekly?
I've got mixed opinions. On the one hand, Bret Hart had no right to make me defend this title each and every week but once I started getting used to it, I was enjoying it. It's a constant spot on the card and it's bound to equal ratings which leads to more cash. Am I annoyed that I'm not defending the title tonight? Hell no. What does annoy me is Mr. McMahon thinking I can't retain this belt each week, thinking that I'm devaluing this title. At the end of the day though, the boss is the boss and if that's the way he wants it, find by me.
Well we know that the next time you will be defending the TV Championship is on March 26th at WrestleMania. You will be facing one of four possible men, Donny Marlow, Lance Cade, Chris Jericho or The Undertaker. Three weeks from tonight, who would you like to see emerge as the number one contender?
I'm not going to lie Joe. I want to face Taker. I haven't forgotten about WrestleMania 19. I was meant to be the man who broke the streak but instead, he carried it on all the way up to last year. As for the others, Donny Marlow has been in this business for a cup of coffee so far. He doesn't deserve a shot at this title, let alone a spot on the biggest event of the year. Lance Cade is a hell of a talent but considering he wants to beat everyone on Raw, there are plenty of other options. And Chris Jericho, well, I already beat him once. No point doing it again.
However, tonight you're teaming up with Chris to take on Edge and Vladimir Kozlov. If he wants your title, will that play a role in the match outcome?
As much as Chris may dislike me, he dislikes Edge a whole lot more. Right now everyone is focused on WrestleMania so Chris won't even care about the beating I gave him. We're gonna be on the same page and should our paths cross again, it will be the same result as before. Chris can take care of Edge and as for Vlad, I have no problem pinning him two weeks in a row. If David Hart wants to get involved, so be it. One way or another, I'm coming out a winner tonight and I'm coming out a winner March 26th.

Jillian Hall is in the back.
LALALALALALALA!!! LALALALALALALA!!!
*Bret Hart walks up to Jillian, covering his ears.*
JILLIAN.. CAN I TALK TO YOU FOR A MINUTE?
Oh hey Bret! I was just doing some vocal exercises! What's up?
Well Jillian... this'll not take long. i just wanna ask you a few questions. You can probably guess what about, right?
Oh, the investigation into who tried to kill Mr. McMahon!
That's right. I'd like to talk to both you and Vladimir if that's at all possible.
Well, I don't know where Vlad is. I haven't seen him since he lost the title Friday night.
I'd really like to talk to him. But you too. Where were you on the night in question?
Well, I was at the arena, of course. I was in an match earlier on the show. I didn't win, though. I was sitting in the back, upset about my loss, when I saw Mr. McMahon get shot! I looked at the other Divas, and I was like...
OH MY GAWD OH MY GAWD YOU GUYS!!!!
Hang on wait... do you remember who was there with you?
Well, it was a tribranded show, so Divas from all the shows were there. I remember it was me, Melina, Mickie James, Natalya, Katie Lea, and Lin Lin. We were all hangin' out, doin' our nails and stuff, cause...
GIRLS THEY WANNA HAVE FUN-UN! OHH GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FU-

They were like what?
Jillian is looking past Bret. Bret turns around and sees Vladimir Kozlov standing behind him.
Hi Vladimir.... sorry about Friday night.
Bret offers a handshake to Kozlov. He stares for a moment, then accepts the handshake.
Thank you Hitman. It was a tough loss.
However, I need to talk you.
Kozlov sees Jillian still standing there.
Alone.
Jillian get's the hint and quickly leaves.
I need to talk to you too Vlad. What's on your mind?
I am sure you saw what happened at No Way Out, when David Hart interfered in my match. And I know you saw what he did to Hacksaw Duggan last week on this show. What I want to know is, what do you intend to do about it?
I know David has been out of line but there's not much I can do Vladimir.
Look Bret, I know he's your nephew, but you cannot protect him. We took him under in and helped him move up the ranks on Raw. And he repays us by putting Hacksaw in the hospital and helping to cost me my title. I want him in a match, Bret. And I want him in a match tonight.
I can't give you him tonight. I've already got you both booked. Remember? You're in a tag match. Maybe we should try to forgive and forget this whole thing?
I would like to do that, but after all he's done, I simply cannot. He must be punished for what he's done. And since you won't do it...
I will.
Kozlov goes to leave, but Bret grabs his shoulder.
Vladimir... please... I know he's done wrong... but he's my nephew. Please... don't hurt him.
I will do what I have to do.
I'm sorry.
*Kozlov leaves.*
Wait! I never got to ask you about Vince McMahon! Vladimit!

Wait what? How did you? Is that even... WITH A MELON?!
Serena wanders up behind Dave.
Okay actually that's hot... It really is.
Serena walks round to the front of Dave. Dave looks panicked.
Errr.... uhhh...
He immediately hangs up.
...who was that?
Ahhh the talking clock. Always real useful... when ya wanna know the time. Real useful...
The talking clock? So what was hot?
Um... the temperature... in Washington... yeah real hot.
The talking clock tells you that?
They're always adding new features!
So what was that about a melon? Something that you thought was impossible?
Oh yeah... all new recipe. Didn't think it was POSSIBLE to have a melon in that way.
They really did add a lot of new features huh?
Yeah... yeah they did... ha ha... SO ANYWAY... last week... didn't I tell ya I would get you noticed on Raw? A win alongside the Women's champ and the Animal? It doesn't come much better than that!
Yeah it was pretty good.
And tonight you get to be in another trio of sorts. You, Lin and Melina battling for that final Cash in the Vault spot.
Yeah. I'm lookin forward to it. Yano, I've worked hard to get this far and to be given a shot at Mania right off the bat is kinda cool. I don't need to be pinned to lose though which isn't the best... but I mean I have a lot of experience of three ways, so I kinda understand how it'll work... Anyway... I'd better go and get ready. Thanks Dave.
No problem.
Serena exits. Batista looks all around cautiously before pulling out a tape recorder. He plays it.
"I have a lot of experience of three ways"
Batista smiles, before putting the tape away. He gets out his phone to make a call again as we go to commercial.

JR: Nothing, nothing. Let's forget what you said about Ms. Cash earlier.
BS: Ms. Cash?! Where?!
JR: Serena looking to make a quick impact here on Raw at the expense of two far more experienced divas in Lin Lin and Melina tonight.
BS: Anything can happen in WCWWE JR. But up next is the big tag team match!
The following tag team match is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, from Manhasset, New York, and Tampa, Florida respectively, the team of Chris Jericho and the Television Champion, The Big Show!
And their opponents, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Moscow, Russia respectively, the team of “The Rated R Superstar” Edge, and Vladimir Kozlov!
Chris Jericho and Big Show vs. Edge and Vladimir Kozlov

Show and Kozlov are in the ring. The two big men inevitably slug it out with big right hands.
Kozlov betters him and hits a headbutt to the chest. Kozlov makes a tag but Show has stumbled over and tags in Jericho too.
Edge charges at Jericho, who rolls out of the ring. Edge chases Jericho round and into the ring. Jericho catches him with stomps as Edge re-enters. Jericho off the ropes hits a low dropkick to the face of the Rated R Superstar. He tries for a bulldog, but Edge ducks and spears him!

Broken up by Show!
Kozlov comes in and goes after Show and they fight to the floor.
In the ring, Jericho trips Edge and goes for the Walls of Jericho, and he gets it locked in. Edge struggles and eventually makes it to the bottom rope to cause a break. Big Show throws Kozlov into the barricade in the aisle way. Show climbs up on the apron and tells Jericho to tag him in.
Jericho ignores Show at first. Show shouts at him louder now. Jericho walks over and smiles at Show, before tagging him in. Show enters the ring and Jericho goes to leave. Jericho turns Show around though and hits the Codebreaker!
Jericho then rolls out of the ring and walks to the back. In the ring, Edge catches Show with the spear! Tag to Kozlov!
Kozlov comes in and waits for Show to get up! Battering ram!

Here are your winners: Edge and the Big Show!
JR: Chris Jericho just turned on his own partner tonight!
BS: I think he was sending a message to the Big Show! Jericho wants that TV title and he just showed Show that he doesn't care about a meaningless tag match. He's saving himself for next week... or the week after!
*Bret Hart approaches Christian who is stood at a vending machine.*
Well if it's isn't The Hitman. Best there was, best there is, best there ever will be. If you'll excuse me for a moment, as a fellow Canadian, there's something I have to do.
*Christian drops to his knees and start bowing at Hart's feet*
I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!
*Bret looks a little confused.*
Um... thanks... I guess.
So uh, what can I do you for?
Well, remember last week I told Vince I'd find out if a Raw guy was the one who attacked him?
And you...you think I might have had something to do with it?
I'm not accusing you Christian, but I got to ask everyone. You got to understand that.
You know I've switched around so much I don't even remember if I was on Raw back then.
Yeah, but you're on Raw now. My job is to ask everyone who is currently on Raw. I assume that William and Stephanie will be doing something similar on their shows.
So... did you?
Look Bret, all joking aside, what would I have to gain by taking Vince out? I don't think I'm on his enemies list. I don't know if I'm even on his radar. But quite besides from that, Vince hired me back when I went...let's just say I went into temporary retirement. If anything, I owe him.
Well, when you came in, you didn't exactly get many opportunities at first. It was like he was punishing you for your exit in 05.
Yeah, and if I was a man who took things personally that might mean something. But you know, can I ask you a question? What about you?
...Thank you for your time Christian. Good luck with Lance Cade tonight.
See you around, Bret.

BS: It's an internet thing. You'd not understand.
JR: I have a blog.
BS: So what? Melina is going to Mania! This is great!
I'm here with Captain Charisma Christian. Christian, you're minutes away from your match with Lance Cade but you seem a little distracted.
I'm just thinking about Bret Hart.
That little chat you had with him earlier.
Yeah. He didn't seem all that eager to answer my question.
You really think Bret Hart may have had something to do with the attack on Mr McMahon?
Of course not Joey. As a Canadian, Bret Hart is God. Well after Wayne Gretzky. But think about. All these years since Montreal it has to have festered. Remember when he tried to kill Goldberg after he ended his career. Of course not, nobody was watching WCW by then. But what Vince did to him, sold him out in Canada? And then went on TV and claimed "Bret screwed Bret"?
To have my legacy pissed on like that? It'd sure make me mad. And as the years went on I'd get angrier and angrier until I don't know what I'd do.
So Bret Hart should be considered a suspect?
Hell no. He's Bret freakin' Hart. The best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be. He'd never do anything like that.
Okay, if can get back to your match against Lance Cade. Lately you've been looking for a partner to take on the In-Crowd. Could Cade be that partner?
Well lance is great and all but I don't know if he quite measures up to the Captain Charisma standard. That plus his urine sample came back with some dubious results so unfortunately I don't think Lance Cade is the right man to join the Peep Empire. In other words...
Lance, you're fired!
So will you continue to search for someone else?
Not exactly. You see I've been thinking. Maybe there's only one partner I need. One partner I ever needed. And he reeks of awesomeness.
Now Joey if you excuse me, I have a match...
*Suddenly, Christian is knocked to the ground from behind. The camera pans out to show John Morrison and The Miz standing there. They start to put the boots to Christian.*
Hey Joey... get out of here or do you want some of this too?
*Joey runs off shouting for help. Miz and Morrison continue to beat down on Christian. Miz grabs a lead pipe. Morrison chokes Christian on the ground as Miz smashes Christian's knee with the pipe. He hits him again and again!
Christian screams out in pain as Miz and Morrison start to stomp on his knee, as security run up to pull Miz and Morrison away.*

BS: Well it casts doubts over our main event tonight too.
-- Video package --
*Maryse is shown entering her house again from last week*
I knew this was going to be hard… But I did not realize how much of an understatement that was.
*Shot goes inside the house showing her parents rushing to her and giving her a big hug with tears in their eyes … then sitting down. Video flashes from different shots of the discussion.. from just talking, to arguing, to yelling matches*
They were happy I was home… but very angry with me. And they had every right to be. I had turned my back on them, and everything they had taught me. I defended myself as best I could… but even I didn’t believe the excuses that were coming out of my mouth. But as awful as I had been to them… regardless of what I put them through…
*Video shows Maryse sitting there, arms up to her face, crying. Both parents come over and put their arms around her*
…they were still there for me. I didn’t have to fight for their acceptance… I didn’t have to be exactly how they wanted me to be… they just gave it to me.
The next morning, I got up early and went down for breakfast in my PJ’s. Waiting for me was a plate of homemade blueberry pancakes, my mom’s specialty. I’ve never liked blueberries, but I never had the heart to tell her… and I wasn’t about to start today.
After breakfast, I got ready and set out to visit my old town. A few people recognized me… not from WCWWE… but from growing up. It was nice to see Mrs. Walter is was as spry as ever.
First stop, was my elementary school. We lived in a small town… so the school wasn’t very big. But it was as far back as I could remember. There were only a total of 25 kids in my class. And only 2 of them were girls, me and Miranda. She was the daughter of a beautician, so she always took care into the way she looked. I was more of a tom boy… my father even signed me up for martial arts early on… ya know… “just in case” I needed it in school with all those boys. And what most people don’t know… is that I eventually became a black belt.
Anyway, Miranda and I helped each other out. She showed me about style and makeup(which I became quite good at), and I showed her how to defend herself. And it worked out great… that is… until she moved… and on the summer right before high school. To say I was upset was an understatement.
*Shot goes to her high school*
So there I was at a new school with my best friend gone. Being the only girl in my class was also difficult. Imagine putting yourself in a room packed with the opposite gender. Now, imagine doing that for every class… five days a week… for four years. It eventually gets to you. The testosterone in this place was almost unbearable.
I got asked out a lot. Mostly all of them wanted the same thing, and none of them got it… and as much as I’d like to tell my father he was wrong… that black belt came in handy at times. But there was this one guy who I thought was “the one”. He was a year older than me and I had it all planned out… I would graduate, go to the same university as him, we’d get married, etc etc… without going into a lot of details… I went to visit him at his dorm once, and found some sorority girl asleep in his bed.
I was heartbroken, and cried for a week. My father was finally the one that was able to help me… making me realize that as bad as this situation was, I was going to be a stronger woman because of it.
And that was the moment that I had been looking for… the memory that I locked into and focused on.
The whole reason I came home was because I was not able to accomplish the goals I had set for myself… unable to get what I wanted. What I didn’t realize, was it wasn’t about whether or not you failed… but how you deal with those situations. Cause each time you fail, you get that much stronger… that much more capable of succeeding the next time. I never liked the phrase “when you fall off your horse, get right back on”… but now I can see the significance of it.
I am talented, I am strong, I am determined, I am committed, I am a fighter, … and watch out WCWWE…
…cause Maryse… is BACK!

The following contest is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit and it is your main event of the evening. Introducing first, from San Antonio, Texas, Lance Cade!
*Cade makes his way to the ring*
Last week once again ah did what ah said
Another world champion's shoulders went down for the three count
And Ah'm another man closer to pinning every man on RAW
Can you people see it?
Can you see that glowing shine that is my future?
Cause it's only getting brighter people it's getting brighter and brighter and soon not only will you have to squint to look at my shine but you'll feel it burning through your eyes
One person saw my shine though and that man was Christian but can you really blame him?
Last week ah pinned his brother and the week before that ah pinned the man who hounded for awhile around here
So tonight?
Ah'll pin him and see to it that my shine just keeps getting brighter and you people will remember that shining boy who came through here and brightened up yer lives
You'll sing songs and write books about how yer lives were changed because just for a minute you were in my shine and felt like you were worth something
So c'mon Christian come out here so ah can pin you and build my shining legacy

Christian staggers around the ring all match. Cade obviously focuses on his knee. Christian mounts offence with right hands to knock Cade into the ropes. Cade goes for a chop block but Christian moves and legdrops him. 2 count for Christian who continues to hold his knee.
Christian tries for the Killswitch, but Cade shoves him into the ropes and lowers is head. Christian kicks him in the gut and whips Cade. Christian lowers his head. Cade stops and instead of kicking him in the head kicks him in the kneecap. Christian drops to the mat holding his knee. Cade grabs his leg and hits kneedrops to his knee. Figure 4 leglock. Christian taps out nearly immediately!
Here is your winner: Lance Cade!
Cade makes his way to the back with a big smirk on his face. In the ring, referee Mike Chioda checks on Christian's condition.
We cut backstage and we see Bret Hart walking the corridors, making his way towards the arena! Bret presents his findings... NEXT!
Feb 24, 2010 18:35:10 GMT -5 @aboveaverage said:
BS: Well it's time for the moment of truth.JR: Now Bret Hart will present his findings!
BS: Was it a Raw superstar who did it?
JR: We're about to hopefully find out!
We come back from commercial to see Bret Hart already in the ring awaiting the presence of Vince McMahon.
Bret... you’ve conducted your little search, and quite frankly I want to get right to the point here. You now know whether or not a Raw superstar did this. Is this correct?
Correct Vince.
Okay then Bret. Tell me the results of your work.
Vince, I have spoken to every single Raw superstar, whether it be in the back, or on the phone like I had to with Maryse and Randy Orton... and each and every single one of them has given me information that will help your investigation. Vince, after speaking with them all, I think... no I’m certain... that a Raw employee was not responsible for shooting you 8 months ago.
Nobody on Raw huh?
Nobody on Raw.
So Bret... you conducted your little search and you found that NOBODY on Raw did it. You interviewed absolutely everyone... oh yeah... with the exception of one person.
You didn't interview... yourself Bret.
What? What do you mean by that?
I mean... you're a Raw superstar. How very convenient that you have ruled out everyone on this brand as a suspect when it's well known how much of a grudge you have against me. I screwed you back in 97 and you still haven't gotten over it! Have you?! You came back here and got the GM job saying you'd forgiven me. Well, maybe you've only forgiven because you know you did something far worse back in June. Huh Bret? Bret... YOU SHOT ME!
Vince... I...
*Sir David Hart quickly jogs down to the ring. He rolls under the ropes and gets between Bret and Vince.*
Leave him alone McMahon. You stand out here and you accuse Randy Orton, you accuse Bret Hart. How do we all know you didn't just set this all up yourself? I am getting tired of hearing about "Who shot JR..I mean Vince McMahon?" Its been going on since June.
Well, I would guess there are a lot of people with motive to shoot you. But let me tell you a story..I remember Montreal 1997, Vince..My dad was there, my uncle Owen and Jim Neidhart were there and most importantly that man *Points to Bret* was there.
You tossed him aside after everything he gave you. You screwed him over in his own country and even worse. You allowed Shawn Michaels and Triple H and even yourself to mock him over the following weeks. Remember the famous Bret screwed Bret line? I was watching at home as a kid..Oh how I hated you Vince, oh how my mom hated you.
Remember what followed then Vince? My dad walked out on you for what you did..Uncle Owen he wasn't so lucky and you wouldn't let him out of his contract. In fact you decided to make him do embrassing things like wearing stupid masks. Then you made him do a stunt that you knew he was afraid to do in Kansas City on May 23, 1999..My Uncle Owen fell to his death because of you! You killed him.
You pushed a look of men who were larger than life over everything else, Vince. You put guys under pressure to look a certain way. If they didn't they were either not allowed to headline or they were flat out fired by you. You forced them to take steroids in order to get bigger and stronger so you could beat WCW! You are responsible for the heart attacks and deaths of a countless line of men..Including my father, on May 18th, 2002. He had a heart attack on vacation thanks to you. While working for you on the road he had affairs and broke up my family.
So you are responsible for 2 deaths, a divorce and killing the honor and legacy of Bret Hart. For all those reasons a Raw superstar shot you. I shot you, Vince. I shot you and I would do it again.
*David Hart drops the microphone and storms up to a shocked Vince McMahon. Bret Hart watches on in stunned silence as David grabs Vince by the collar and raises his fist. Before he can do anything though Vladimir Kozlov charges down to the ring.
David sees Kozlov approaching and lets go of Vince and bails out of the ring. Kozlov, Bret and Vince stare down David from the ring.
Vince turns to look at Bret. Bret looks right back at him. Bret exits the ring and starts to go after David as the show comes to a close.*

WCWWE.com After The Bell!!*Donny Marlow is seen once again leaving Raw when Joey Styles approaches him.*
Donny Marlow... we just heard Dacid Hart was the man that very nearly killed Vince McMahon months ago. After hearing his reasons behind the assault, what is your reaction to David Hart's stunning revelation?
Let's see here. McMahon was shot because he screwed our current GM out of his title after he gave 11+ years to the guy. Because he was the cause of Owen Hart's unfortunate passing. Because the road pressure he put on everyone affected Davey Boy to the point where he couldn't come back from his addictions. Is that what Hart said?
Well.... pretty much, yes.
Hmph. Seems like Hart wanted revenge against the man that tried to ruin the Hart Family legacy. I'm not exactly condoning it here Joey, but I understand it.
Hart, DiBiase, Rhodes, Orton, The Colons.... we all come from wrestling families. Each of us has a certain responsibility to our families to prove that we're just as good, if not better, than our forefathers that came before us. We're all striving for the moment where we make our families proud of us. The Harts & The McMahons... I can't ever see them being even remotely friendly to one another. There's just too much bad blood there, too many open wounds. Hart may be a hero to his family, he may not be Joey. But on Raw, he's got a target on his back.
Well, speaking of making your families proud, tonight you put on an impressive showing against The Undertaker.
Really? The Undertaker, after almost two decades wrestling, after two decades of injuries have turned him into a former shell of himself.... losing to him is an impressive showing?
Taker, you got lucky this week, plain and simple. I don't know if I'm still in this TV Title hunt or if I'm out, because our GM's just a little too preoccupied to answer me. But rest assured, we will meet again Taker. Our paths will cross once more, and I will avenge this loss on my record. You don't get to retire Deadman, you don't get to ride off into the sunset after WrestleMania. When I beat you, when I get my retribution and you're staring at the lights, then you can leave. Then, you get to walk out of this company with your tail tucked between your legs, knowing that you lost to a superior wrestler.
Donny, before you go, last week there was a woman waiting by your car. And you have been seen getting friendly with Ms. Cash as of late...
So what are you implying Joey? That just because Jenny and I have been getting to know each other over the past few weeks, that she was the woman?
Well-
I've been getting to know Melina. I've been getting to know Serena. Hell, Lin Lin and I have spent some time together sharing stories. But because you don't know about that, you automatically assume that I-
*Lin Lin walks up and slaps Donny before walking off.*
LIN! I WAS BEING FRIENDLY! COME ON, YOU'RE STILL WITH LEO, YOU CAN'T BE THAT MAD!!
*Donny begins chasing after Lin Lin while Joey just shakes his head, chuckling.*
