Welcome to Tuesday Night Smackdown! I am your host Michael Cole! We are 3 days away from No Way Out and things are really begin to heat up!
First, another match has just been approved for the Pay Per View. Colons, Kung Fu Thrillas, Wig Splitters, the new team of Kyo Dai, and the Bellas will be getting it on in an 12 man (err person) tag team elimination match! The Bellas have been asking for weeks for a match to prove themselves against the male competitors… and Stephanie has not disappointed! Can they prove themselves worthy enough to set their eyes on the undisputed tag team Championships?
Speaking of those titles… Miz and Morrison shocked the world when they took down the mighty Super Powers to become the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions. But their celebration was short lived as long standing tag team rivals MVP and Striker made their claim for the gold. Can the Undisputed Tag Champions retain, or will we crown new champions?
Also on the card for No Way Out…
The blood feud between Triple H and HBK finally come to an end as these two will meet in one on one action. These two have not been in a match together since survivor series and Triple H is just itching for an opportunity at HBK. We get a preview here tonight as we’ll see them pitted against each other in 6 man tag team action.
Colt Cabana was quite verbal about his discontent that he was not afforded an upgraded title opportunity. That he was “discontent” with his US title shot. But due to being bound by contract, he is “forced” to participate in this match. For the past few weeks he has teamed with his tag team partner and opponent at No Way Out… CM Punk. They have not quite looked the same during any of these matches, and rather awkward at times. Tonight, they team up together… but at the PPV they will square off one on one.
Alicia Fox finally dethroned the long standing women’s champ Katie Lea, and now faces another british opponent, Layla, at the PPV. Layla won a diva’s battle royal, defeating all the other Smackdown Divas to earn this opportunity. Can she follow thru and win the Women’s gold?
And last but not least. The grand daddy of them all. The Undisputed World Championship Match. John Cena and Champion Vladamir Kozlov have been taking the high road to the championship, Showing they are competitive, but respectful when doing so. Tonight they team up to take on the Second City Saints. But when we get to No Way Out… will the gloves come off?

Shawn Michaels somehow got out of his match earlier in the evening, sending Mike Knox as his replacement. I’m beginning to think that Shawn is scared of Triple H.
*Shawn Michaels and Mike Knox make their way down the aisle to the crowd's mixed reaction. HBK enters the ring as Knox walks around to the crew and takes a mic, sliding it to HBK. Knox walks around the ring again, posting up between the ramp and the ring, as if he was a lookout.*
So not only do I not get my rightfully deserved rematch for MY United States Title at No Way Out, the "genius" running this show tells me I've got a match with Triple H instead. Now, Steph, I know you think it's a marquee match or whatever, but newsflash: the number of times I've beaten Triple H is--and I know this is gonna be a HUGE number--more than the number of guys you've slept with.
Every single person out there and every one of the boys in the back knows that I MADE Triple H. I took that punk from a high-society wannabe and crafted him into a 13-time World Champion. Hunter Hearst Helmsley would be a nobody if it wasn't for Shawn Michaels. So, sorry to ruin your little main event; but until you give me my rematch, I don't think I'll be wrestling Triple H any time soo......
*The crowd goes wild as Mike Knox runs up the ramp. He gets to the top but Triple H still does not appear. Knox starts to turn around and walk towards the ring but the crowd begins to cheer even louder as HHH appears behind him, holding a sledgehammer! He spins Knox around and smashes him in the head with the hammer. "The Game" points to Michaels in the ring before he drops the hammer, picks up Knox, and hits him with a pedigree! HHH picks up the hammer and slowly walks towards the ring. He walks around and grabs a microphone*
Now that that little...Errr problem is taken care of us two best friends can have a chat. First of all, you never made Triple H, the people here and me did that. I kept you relevant, people were starting to forget about you and it was time for the next generation of wrestlers to come through and I was leading the pack.
I was nice enough to let you tag along for the ride even though you were old and broken down. Sure you ended up having to take off for five years, but I extended you two more. We were the greatest act of all time but that's long gone. You think by leading around Knox you can re-create the greatness we once shared but you can't. You are just a sad sack of crap trying to hold on with your very last ounce of strength. At No Way Out I am going to rip you off and throw you to the side and you can hopefully finally see that you are no longer relevant.
But we do agree on one thing. Its a shame you could not hold onto the United States championship, because it would have just been one more notch in my belt to take that very title away from you. But the crowds are already clamoring for the two of us to get in that ring and go one on one. I know you, Shawn you just cannot resist the payday.

Tonight, my newest pal LaLa and I team up to take on the Bella Twins.
Firstly Bellas, you guys seem to be setting your sights a little higher than us divas with your legal action against Stephanie McMahon. Well this Friday you get what you wanted, a match against a male tag team. Now I know you've been desperate to get your hands on some of the men around here for a while but surely there are easier ways to do it. Anyways I applaud your ambition in going for the tag titles even if I do question your brains. A word of warning though, it would be foolish for you to underestimate us tonight. Whilst we aren't an established tag team and we don't have the sisterly connection that you two do, we proved to Eve and Gail last week that we can work as a unit.
Speaking of my partner, Layla, I've something to say to you as well. It's been great hanging out together these past few weeks and its been a blast getting to know ya. Unfortunatley after tonight we gotta put that on hold till Friday. I like ya and all but this gold round my waist means everything to me and come friday i'll be ready for ya. I'm sure that once the dust settles that we can go back to chillaxing together but from the end of this match to the end of our match on Friday, it'll be strictly business. Sorry honey.

Brie makes a blind tag as Alicia irish whips Nikki, Nikki hangs onto the ropes on the other side of the ring as Brie makes her way into the ring… spins Alicia around and hits a face buster!
Nikki begins taunting Layla and she comes into the ring and charges at nikki… But the ref gets in her way! She struggles against the ref for a few moments as Alicia is getting back to her feet. Alicia pushes Brie back into the turnbuckle at the same time Layla pushes the ref out of her way. Layla with a superkick! Nikki ducked it! She hit Alicia!
Alicia is staggering… Brie rushes up behind her and rolls her into a small cradle with a hand ful of tights! Nikki clotheslines Layla out of the ring.

The Bellas celebrate in the ring… as Alicia gets back to her feet holding her head and Layla reenters the ring. Alicia begins asking about what happened and why Layla kicked her.
Just then, Mickie James comes down to the ring, but neither Alicia or Layla notice her… She comes up behind Alicia… spins her around… MickDT! Mickie mounts her and begins landing several blows on Alicia.
Layla comes over and pulls Mickie off of Alicia and the two stare at each other. Layla reaches down to help Alicia up. Then she applies the Triangle Choke!! Alicia screams out in agony as several officials come down to the ring and try to get Layla to let go of the hold. After what seems like an eternity, she finally lets go. She and Mickie leave the ring together, smiling at the destruction left in their wake.[/quote]

But it's not like tonight is any easier. We have the US champion and his number one contender. Now I know I beat Cabana three weeks ago to earn a shot in the first place but it wasn't easy. You add Punk into the mix it gets even harder.
Ah, but you seem to forget. I defeated ten former World Champions en route to becoming the Champion myself. CM Punk and Colt Cabana are very good, there's no doubt. But I am the World Champion and you are the number one contender. We're better.
We have to be better.
Of course we are. And not only that but we have an understanding. We work together tonight, but come No Way Out it's all business.
Of course. I respect you John, for all you have done in your career, and I know you respect me. At No Way Out, we'll find out just who is the better man.

Punk turns around just in time to see Kozlov’s battering ram headbutt hit him right in the sternum. He falss back into Cena’s waiting arms… FU!! Pin!!

After the match, Cena grabs the Undisputed title from their corner and goes over to Kozlov who is standing there watching him closely. He looks down at the belt..then back up to Kozlov.. then stretches the title out to hand it to Kozlov and Kozlov accepts it. Cena grabs his arm and lifts it up in the air while Kozlov holds the title in the other hand. They do this to each side of the ring, playing up to the crowd.
What a sign of respect! This should be a great match at No Way Out!
When they are finishing the last arm raise, Cena yanks Kozlov in and lifts him up as Kozlov drops the belt… FU!!

Cena looks down at Kozlov with a stoic expression. He walks over to the title belt and picks it up. He walks over to Kozlov and stands over him. He kneels down and slowly gives him the “you can’t see me” sign. He stands and lifts the title over his head with one arm to a chorus of boos as the show comes to a close.[/quote]
